Flexible Appointments!

We’ll fit in with YOUR busy schedule! We’ll always do our very best to accommodate times of day and days of the week (and weekend) to accommodate your lifestyle.

Never Left Alone

Appointments can take between 2 and 3 hours depending on breed and what each owner wants for their dog to have done – we’ll always call you to advise that grooming is finished but if you should be late, that’s not a problem.

Your pet will always have access to water and when grooming is finished they can – if they wish – have fun outside in the fully fenced off area or they can stay in the salon and await owners there. Whether inside or out, your pet will never be left alone and their individual needs will always be met.

Waiting For Your Dog

Owners can wait for dogs whilst grooming takes place if they wish but we generally find that each dog settles down better once the owner has left. This works equally well for dogs who are a little nervous at first and dogs who have never been groomed before. It helps us build up that trust in our 1 to 1 relationship with your pet, ensuring the stress-free environment and adding to their overall enjoyment of each grooming session. Again, for pets that are nervous we can always take a break from grooming and have a play in the knowledge that they are totally secure inside and outside the salon.

First Class Grooming Equipment & Inclusive Health Check

We use excellent quality, professional grooming , washing and drying equipment and the most appropriate shampoo that is natural and kind to your dog’s skin as well as a conditioner (as necessary or requested).

As our “Grooming Services” page explains, we carry out a health check before each groom. This will include Ears, Eyes, Nose, Nails, Dew Claws, Pads, Anal Glands, Skin & Coat. We are trained in recognising common “doggy” issues and will always advise you of anything that needs your attention. We’ll check with you first should any treatment be recommended – such as using a flea-control shampoo when bathing.

An Initial Chat – Plus Our Health Records – Help Us To Help Your Pet

Before your puppy or dog’s first groom with us, we’ll have a one to one consultation with you, to ensure we understand your requirements, answer any questions you may have and find out as much about your pet as we can.

From that first grooming visit, we maintain notes and health records about each dog and the contact details of their owners. It helps us:

  • Review exactly what we did during each visit in terms of grooming, styling and those all important finishing touches
  • Understand the  individual needs of your dog and note anything  else particular about him/her which will help us give them a fun grooming experience next time they see us
  • Easily access emergency contact information, including your dog’s usual vet, in the unlikely event that is necessary.

Paying For Your Pet’s Groom

We currently accept cheques or cash on the day, after each grooming session. We are very proud of our excellent reputation and so – if you do have any issues with your dog or puppy’s groom, even once you have both returned home – we’ll always invite you back asap and put the issue right, free of charge.
